Chambers Gully and Koalas
I went for a long walk today from the city center out to a hiking trail in the Mount Lofty Range at the side of town. The trail I hiked goes through the Cleland Conservation Park. It was pretty hazy so the landscape pictures came out a little washed out... I put a few in here for perspective. But there were lots of koalas, so there are some pictures of them as well. The mountain with the white spire on it is Mt. Lofty, the highest point in South Australia.

Hey, the pictures look great! It must be cool to see koalas out in the wild. Glad your getting time to explore.
Arid it is... They say the climate is 'Mediterranean'. It has rained once since I got here, an inch or so in the mountains, a couple of tenths in town (on the plain)...
When the Soviet Union moved missles to Cuba, I was 3 months old. If JFK had chosen the wrong course, my life would have been much shorter. I am not really a boomer or a tweener or a genx or what ever is current. I flow through life always watching what passes, hopefully learning from what I see and experience. One thing I have learned is the cup is half full when you are filling it, half empty when you drink.
