There is a picture of the building where my room is and the building where SKM is. The rest of the pictures were taken in the park that follows the River Torrens. This all within walking distance of my room...

Whoa! What is that bird that looks like a pigeon with a blue-jay crest on it?

It is a Crested Pigeon... imagine that! They are Aussie's turtle dove. Lots of them around, not as dirty as regular city pigeons (plenty of those too), about the same size, you see them in the woods as well.
